VOGELBUSCH Biocommodities GmbH is part of the Vogelbusch group. The privately owned Austrian company is a global operator in the biotechnology plant engineering sector.
Specializing in industrial (white) biotechnology, the Biocommodities division designs and implements bioprocess plants using proprietary technology to produce biocommodities such as alcohol, starch sugars, yeast, vinegar and organic acids.

In 2009, the two former divisions of Vogelbusch GmbH, Biopharma and Biocommodities, were demerged into independent companies. The entire operation of the Biocommodities division including all employees was transferred to the new VOGELBUSCH Biocommodities GmbH, which is wholly-owned by Vogelbusch GmbH.
